The first 5 units of Aria’s small wind turbine Libellula 20kW were switched on at the beginning of this month in the beautiful Prozor-Rama area in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
This important result for Libellula 20kW was achieved thanks to the cooperation with our Bosnian partner Solik doo.
Aria srl will continue working in the Balkans area and other projects will follow.
Presented to the market at the end of 2016, the Libellula 20kW model has been installed in tens of units in Italy. It proved to be robust and reliable as its sister model Libellula 60i, and reached high performances even at low winds. This is thanks to its large rotor (238m2 swept area) and to the direct connection to the grid.
Proud of this result, Aria is determined to consolidate its presence in Eastern Europe, but also to invest in projects of electrification in more remote markets.
